Terms of service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply when you use The OT Store website or purchase products from us.
The website is operated by The OT Store Pty Ltd (ACN 629 473 105), trading as The OT Store. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The OT Store, while “you” and “your” refer to the website user or customer.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Shipping Information, Returns Information and Privacy Policy.
Using Our Website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes and must not attempt to interfere with its operation, security or availability.
We may update, suspend or withdraw website content or functionality when reasonably necessary. While we take reasonable care to keep the website available and accurate, occasional errors, interruptions or technical issues may occur.
Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, images, specifications, prices and availability are accurate.
Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on your screen, and manufacturers may occasionally update packaging or minor product details without notice. Where a material product detail changes after you order, we will contact you before dispatch where reasonably possible.
Product descriptions and general information on our website are not a substitute for personalised medical, therapeutic or professional advice. Individual needs and responses vary, and we cannot guarantee that a product will achieve a particular therapeutic, developmental or behavioural outcome.
Product Suitability and Safe Use
Please review the product description, age guidance, measurements, warnings and instructions before purchasing or using a product.
Products intended for children must be used with appropriate adult supervision. Customers are responsible for assessing whether a product is suitable for the intended user and environment, taking into account their age, abilities, behaviour and individual needs.
Products should be inspected regularly and removed from use if damaged, excessively worn or unsafe. Products designed to be chewed are consumable items, and their usable lifespan will vary depending on the user and intensity of use.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
Placing an Order
When placing an order, you agree to provide complete and accurate contact, billing and delivery information.
When ordering on behalf of a school, organisation, NDIS participant or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to place the order and provide the relevant information.
After your order is submitted, you will receive an automated confirmation. This confirms that we have received your order but does not guarantee that every item can be supplied.
Your order is accepted when we confirm dispatch. Before dispatch, we may contact you or decline an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
-
an item is unavailable;
-
there is a genuine pricing or listing error;
-
payment cannot be confirmed;
-
delivery to the supplied address is unavailable; or
-
we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity.
If we cannot accept an order for which payment has already been received, we will provide a prompt refund to the original payment method.
Prices and Payment
Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
Shipping charges are calculated separately and displayed at checkout before payment. Available payment methods are also shown at checkout.
If a genuine and material pricing error is identified before dispatch, we will contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the affected item for a full refund.
Discounts, promotions and coupon codes are subject to any conditions displayed with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined and apply only while the promotion or available stock lasts.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered the packing or dispatch process. Delivery details generally cannot be changed after a parcel has been transferred to the carrier.
Shipping and Delivery
Available carriers, delivery estimates, dispatch times, tracking and Authority to Leave arrangements are explained on our Shipping Information page.
Delivery dates shown at checkout or provided by a carrier are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates. Carrier disruptions, weather events, remote destinations, customs processing and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.
International customers may be responsible for customs duties, taxes or import charges imposed by their destination country where these charges have not been collected at checkout.
Returns, Faults and Consumer Rights
Change-of-mind requests and our returns process are explained on our Returns Information page.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Where a product does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or compensation, depending on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.
These rights apply regardless of whether an order was paid personally, by a school or organisation, or using NDIS funds.
We may request reasonable information, photographs, video or the return of a product to help assess a reported fault. Where the law requires us to cover return costs, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return shipping.
Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including its text, product descriptions, graphics, photographs, branding, layout and design, is owned by or licensed to The OT Store unless otherwise stated.
You may view and print website content for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.
Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily indicate our endorsement.
Third-party websites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from product misuse, failure to follow supplied instructions or warnings, unauthorised modification, normal wear and tear, or continued use of a visibly damaged product.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
Privacy
We collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our operations, website or legal obligations.
The terms applying to an order are those published when the order is placed. Updated terms will apply to future website use and orders from the date they are published.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any rights available under applicable Australian consumer legislation.
