Jasper's Top 5 Picks
This week we asked our littlest employee of The OT Store what his top 5 picks were.
Jasper is an 11-year-old boy who loves to play basketball, ride his bike and spend time with his kitty cat, Emily.
He is currently enrolled in Distance Education and completes all his schoolwork from The OT Store headquarters on the Gold Coast. Therefore, he knows our products and resources better than anyone!!

NUMBER 5
I really like Frankl the weighted Fox because he’s super cuddly and very cute. I like sitting him on my lap while I do my schoolwork. He feels so soft to touch.
(Jasper came along for the ride when we collected our first batch of Foxes to join the collection of Mindful and Co weighted buddies at the OT Store. We are really excited to have the whole set available for purchase.)

NUMBER 4
I love the rock-climbing pack because I really enjoyed rock climbing when we went on our cruise holiday and with the climbing rocks pack, I can do it all the time in my own house.
(Rock climbing is an excellent activity to build whole body muscle strength and keep kids active through a fun and challenging activity.)
NUMBER 3
The Sensory Body Sock is so much fun!! I love it because you look funny in it and can be really silly, wiggling and jumping around. It’s great fun!
(Sometimes while doing his schoolwork Jasper needs to get his wiggles out and burn off some energy from having to focus on his work at the computer. The body sock is a great movement break activity.)
NUMBER 2
My next favourite would be the Scooter Boards. You can go fast on them and ride down hills and scoot around all over the floor. I like the blue because it is my favourite colour.
(Jasper is an extremely active boy who does need breaks while doing distance ed. Otherwise he would spend far too much time on a screen. Luckily the OT Store warehouse has plenty of open space to scoot around and give him the gross motor play he needs at break times.)

My absolute favourite thing we sell is the Purple Glitter Lamp!! I hope that I get one for my birthday, they are so cool!
(There are so many great reasons to add a Glitter Lamp to your child’s space. Not just because it’s a cool lamp, but the mesmerising effects of the glitter can inspire creative thinking, helping kids daydream, imagine and even tell stories.
